Network and cluster stakeholders of the tourism industry and tourism education bodies
"Network and cluster stakeholders of the tourism industry and tourism education bodies" based on the ongoing activities started with the first Baltic Sea Tourism Summit in October 2008 .
The second Baltic Sea Tourism Forum has taken place in Vilnius in September 2009. The participants agreed on six future fields of intensified cooperation, among them common promotional activities, the creation of a common internet platform and the development of Baltic Sea Region products and services. As requested by the participants, the Tourism Association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is now conducting workshops in order to delineate the next practical steps in these fields. In addition it was decided in Vilnius that the Baltic Sea Tourism Forums shall take place annually at rotating locations, the next will take place in Sopot/Gdansk (PL) on May, 18-19, 2011.
